This year's Anime Expo is going to be jam-packed as an awesome line-up of Japanese artists will be present in the Anisong World Matsuri. It's an epic 3-day (July 4, 6, and 7) festival event filled with awesome live performances for AX attendees! It is a once-in-a-lifetime concert event that you shouldn't miss!
Anisong World Matsuri is an event made possible through the collective efforts of Japanese companies that focus on animation-related contents. The event aims to transmit Japan's animation/anisong culture, and to maximize its value throughout the world by delivering Japan's anisong concerts worldwide in the highest quality. Anisong World Matsuri has delivered anisong to fans in Washington D.C., Shanghai, and returns to Anime Expo 2018 for its third consecutive year.
Shōko Nakagawa
The beautiful and talented Japanese artist Shōko Nakagawa will return to this year's Anime Expo to bring you unforgettable anime songs from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Pokémon, Gurren Lagann, and more. Be sure to catch her on July 7, joined by great idol talents AKB48 Team 8, THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS, and i☆Ris (PriPara, Magical Girl Site).
Love Live! fans get hyped as this year's Anisong will have the LOVELIVE! SUNSHINE!! Aqours World Love Live! in LA ~Beyond the Pacific~ full length concert event on July 4. This is their first ever full-length solo concert in the United States!
The second day of the Anisong Matsuri is a perfect kick-off for the weekend as Aimer (Fate/stay night, Bleach, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress), May'n (Macross Frontier), Yuki Kajiura (Fate/Zero, ERASED, Black Butler), and Sanketsu-girl Sayuri (Scum's Wish, Fate/Extra Last Encore) bring you the best anime songs live.
For you to be able to witness the concert, AX attendees will only need to present both a valid AX badge and a concert ticket which are on sale for VIP at $150, Orchestra at $85, and Loge at $60.
