So last week we had a staff call-out show and I figured it's about time for a listener call-out (which wound up involving two staffers anyway!), so here we go! Up top, Justin and I chat about some stuff we've seen recently, like Crusher Joe and Toradora!, and then Justin sets the record straight about what exactly is happening with Dentsu's American sales office. Then we discuss Justin's media hoarding issue, which is eye-opening!

Next up Mike Toole joins us to talk about his trek through Tomino's magical world in the form of Aura Battler Dunbine and fill us in on his plans for his new column, The Mike Toole Show, which premieres this Sunday. Naturally there is talk of old, obscure dubs, because hey, that's our thing. After that, pleasant Chicagoland citizen Jim wants to know if 1980s anime is still relevant and we get into a thing about overrated oldies from years past (this means you, Bubblegum Crisis!) Afterward, Eryn from the snowy north talks about the differences between Canadian anime cons and American ones, and then freshly-minted ANN Critic and manga blogger extraordinaire Lissa Pattillo drops by to talk about the sad situation in the manga industry right now. Wooooo!
