The Shojo Must Go On

ANNCast 088 - The Shojo Must Go On

This week we're chatting about all things Shojo - how shojo anime became a sort of gateway drug for fans in the late 90s, what's been great lately, how the entire genre has changed over the last few years, and a whole lot more!

Joining in is Ed Chavez from Vertical, ANNCast veteran and longtime shojo champion, and newcomer Emily Snodgrass, who literally runs the site Shoujo-Manga.com so you can see why she's on this show. (Also one of my litmus tests for being on a show about shojo was that we'd just keep referring back to Hana Yori Dango, and happenstance delivered.)

You can listen to the show on our player here, direct-download the MP3 version here, or you can just use these handy links:

NSFW Language Warning: I enjoy cursing, so yep.
