I'm probably one of the few people out there who prefers Spark and Neese to Parn and Deedlit. The quality of the OVA (animation, pacing) is better than the tv series, but I ended up liking Spark and Neese more as characters than I did Parn and Deedlit. Regardless, I like both series. I only own the tv series though. The OVA is on my To Purchase list... someday.

Yesterday was my birthday and wedding day.
 YAY! Besides being super happy about that, my husband and I went out and bought some more manga for me to read as part of a gift from his parents. What I got from Barnes and Noble:
Phantom Thief Jeanne Vol. 1 Alice in the Country of Clover: Cheshire Cat Waltz Vols. 5-7 Plus, my mother - with help from my brother - ordered me a $30 gift certificate for TRSI, so I'll probably be buying another book or three over the weekend. Since it was sent to their house, I have to wait until Sunday when we go over there to pick it up. Ah well; I totally can wait! |

I just recently received my order from HMV JP; the Madoka Rebellion LE set along with the Kara no Kyoukai ~ Mirai Fukuin LE.
Since I didn't order from Rightstuf I did not get the translation booklet for Rebellion, but except I got this rather nice Homura poster, which was HMV's exclusive bonus item. |

Well, Animate USA did have this rather nice wallscroll to go with the translation book. But to each his own with the exclusives that win their hearts.

Yeah I know, and I wanted the wallscroll sooo bad actually... But for some unknown reason Animate USA won't ship to Canada, so sadly that wasn't an option for me.

Well, as stated in my last post, I received my $30 gift certificate for TRSI today. So I made a nice order this morning. What I got that was in stock: Gentlemen's Alliance Cross Vols. 3 and 4 Missions of Love Vols. 1 and 2 And some more pre-orders: Phantom Thief Jeanne Vol. 2 Vampire Knight Vol. 19 Special Edition Legal Drug Omnibus Overall, I'd say I got a nice haul for my birthday and wedding day. Now no more spending on anime and manga that's not already pre-ordered until July, when my husband and I go to Anime Midwest for our yearly con trip/honeymoon. :p
