Hi, my first post and it is actually about a Light Novel but this seemed to be the closest one on the list. I am simply wondering if the LN for In the Land of Leadale will ever be completed? It's been 1 1/2 years since the last one came out and it ended just as the last battle was starting. Did something happen to the author or did it simply die off due to lack of interest?

Enquiring minds want to know!

I could barely find anything on the author, aside from retail sites that simply list him as such. I also checked a few other forums that cover manga and novels, but they haven't had much chatter in them since the anime ended.

Hopefully, nothing actually happened to the guy.

Thank you! It seems like this story may never be concluded. Such a shame, it was actually an interesting premise and different from the usual isekai genre.

Someone posted on Reddit, that the author is working on volume 9, but the author apologized for the delay. That poster included a link to a Japanese web site, Whether it is true or not is for you to decide. I'll take it as good news, as volume 8 ended on a cliff-hanger.

Reddit is certainly not a platform you can trust, but let's hope for the best!
