Fuse isn't that great of a channel.

I guess one good thing out of this is more anime exposure.

I like FUSE, just due to the fact that they play music.
Hmm..uh? Anyone remember Heat Guy J on MTV2? Well..maybe this will be different.
Am I the only one who thinks they should've got BECK? Seriously!? It IS a Music anime, I mean a show about a up and coming band? Seems like a good fit on Fuse.
And Tenjho Tenge?uuh.. Well They should've got Air Gear .. that fits alot better to their audience

Anime hyper
Didn't know Starks had influence in ANN...

So yea... I'm still in shock that Fuse actually got the two shows. XP

I was pretty surprised when I saw the commercial, but i's always good to see more anime on TV. If I knew Ergo Proxy was going to be on TV, I might not have bought the DVDs though.

It might've made more sense if Fuse got an anime that had something to do with music, but then again Fuse has been airing some things that aren't music related for a little while anyway. :/

Currently, no anime airs at that timeslot on a major North American channel except for the Encore Action channel.

Hello? IFC?

IFC airs Basilisk at 11:30 p.m. ET on Friday. Fuse's new anime timeslot will be midnight, so the two don't compete.

Ergo Proxy is emo enough to be associated with the music and culture. I think Fuse gets away with this one.

Hey at least 70% of their line up are not rancid leftovers from Encore Action, like Sci Fi. Anyway, I think Fuse and Sci Fi anime blocks are signalling the start of the Anime Revolution. You know, it's when anime is finally accepted by mainstream America and is crowned the ultimate form of entertainment. You've heard of it before right?

So do people just label anything "emo" these days?

im happy 1010 is getting the airtime. ill still watch it if nothing else is on. hopefully it will stay intact without any editing. since these 2 are geneon's acquisitions, are they trying to buy airtime like funi with the colors channel to promote and gauge the successfulness of anime in the mainstream? can i expect geneon on demand or even a geneon channel like what funi did in the near future?
