My verizon FiOS is being hooked up tomorrow. I wonder if it'll still have it.

I'm about 90 minutes from LA, and it was on the channel list last I checked. (mind you we didn't get FiOS for just one channel. That'd be pretty stupid xD)

Yes. FUNimation Channel is on Extended Basic with Verizon FIOS.

Anyone who knows me would tell you that Me and FUN were rarely on the same page. But this channel was a step in the right direction. Tell me why wont it be on anymore on teh LA channel, I must admit I was really liking the idea of having Anime play in the background of my house. (Not that it doesnt already, I just hate having to choose it... gives my room a more OTA-esque lair feel to it).

Should I expect FUN to bring it back? Or do I have to pay for it now?

Where I live, FUNi airs a four-hour block on Colours TV every night. Check through the channels in the 9000s, your Dish might have it too.

Wonder if my local operator (Buckeye Cablesystem) will ever pick up this channel at all? They used to had The Anime Network back before their linear endeavor fizzled.

While the Funimation channel may not have it's own listing on Comcast, it is airing programming on Comcast. Funimation on Demand programming is part of Comcast's Anime Selects Channel. They have been airing episodes of Tsubasa, Beck, Basilisk, and others for a few weeks now.

After you select the program, you get the normal Anime Selects intro, followed by a logo for the Funimation Channel on demand.

I wish Directv would pick up the Funi channel or at the very least get the on demand version.
