Yay, A TMoHS review I can agree with, especially regarding Kyon (can't comment on the dub yet).

It's a good show, and it is funny. But for me it just doesn't reach the potential (or hype).

Glad you liked the review.

There's alot of potential for the show to improve, but having not yet bothered to watch the next volume (got the R1 of it), I wouldn't know whether they do or not.
Still, it is good for what it is. It doesn't exceed in anything, but it certainly is above average in all fields.
So far I prefer it's dub though. I'm not a big fan of higher pitched fast talking japanese.
