Aoi Hana has put me in the mood to watch another well-done, slice of life yuri series. I'm hoping Sasameki Koto will fill that particular bill. I'll check Fairy Tail out but from the very little I know about it, it seems like it might be skewing a little younger than I like. Mind you, that hasn't prevented me from seriously loving the hell out of Erin.

Here's hoping that Kimi ni Todoke, Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Winter Sonata fill some of the remaining CR slots.

Well, Kimi ni Todoke will air tomorrow, so it propably won't be simulcasted by CR, because they would have already announced it.

Should be pointed out that Fairy Tale is only being made available to paid Crunchyroll anime members and wont be made available to all viewers over time like other shows. They'll also only be available for 30 days each and then removed. Apparently they had to do this due to licensing restrictions, but as a result it does leave the show open to world wide viewing.

On a side note:

Looks like they aren't done with the announcements and still have even more shows announce. Very impressive.

Yep, they have 4 more to go unless they decide to add some more that aren't listed on their original lineup.

And Sasameki Koto looks like a series that might peak my interest, not much for the yuri aspect but more for the excellent voice cast.

I'm sorry...

PAID subscription to Crunchy Roll to watch Fairy Tail???

30 day store limit?

They honestly think they're going to deter fansubbing with this move?

EDIT: Wow, my 444th post! Shocked

Well, they have with me, at least. I only fansub current shows that I can't get legitimately through CR, Funimation, etc. I'm a CR subscriber, by the way.

Same here. Series available at CR are no longer watched fansubbed. It's simplier, a few clicks and you're already watching.
Besides, the more subscribers the more anime they will get, so 6$(or 4£) monthly is nothing at all, really.

Well that means that I will not be watching Fairy Tale.

I was excited to hear that they had it, but now that I know it's only for Anime members, I'm going to have to miss out on it.

I still can't get a job so I have no money for myself. So yay... No watching it. And that means that if I don't get a job and money within 30 days of the first episode airing I will FOR SURE have to miss out on it. >_>

agreed. i'm not a fan of this at all. i like that they're doing this, but crunchyroll's member system really sucks.
