I look forward to reading Tanemura's new series. 2 series is a lot of work for one person though :/

Eh, Full Moon's the only really good thing she's ever done, and it's not like that one didn't have its problems. |

I'm curious about Miyoshi Tomori's new work. I love Akuma to Love Song, so I'd love to give the new series a try as well.

Nope, she's still currently in Ribon too (Sakura Hime Kaden is still being serialized and from spoilers I've heard from people who buy the magazine I can't see a way that it will be ending any time soon), so she'll likely have 2 series at the same time. I'm actually stoked. I absolutely adore Arinacchi, and most of what I've read in Margaret I've very much enjoyed, so double win for me. Also a new Miyoshi Tomori work is exciting, her art is gorgeous! |

Wow, so she's gonna have two series now? That's cool.
From the source, it looks like it'll have something to do with the music group Fudanjuku? I LOVE THAT GROUP. They're so awesome. And I love Arinacchi too. So this is epic news... Yeah.

Tanemura won't be the only one. Tomori will be doing two series as well, since I doubt Akuma to Love Song will end anytime soon.

Well two series at once isn't too bad for these artists since these are monthly releases. If it was a weekly release (like WSJ) then it would be hell to complete everything.

While I have mixed feelings toward the actual content of Tanemura's works (some I really love, others deeply disappointed me), I'm happy to look at anything she makes, because her artwork is simply sublime. I consider her to be one of the best artistic talents currently working in manga.

The same thing that all her other works are about? But here I am being mean. To be honest, while I find her conclusions sort of ridiculous I enjoyed Full Moon wo Sagashite (I thought the anime was better) and The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross even though I'm not the target demographic. I haven't looked at the others so it'd be nice is someone told me how different they are from the two I mentioned. |

No, Akuma to Love Song ended a few issues back and the last volume was just released.
To be exact Margaret is released twice a month (though with shorter chapters than Ribon), but yeah Ribon is monthly. |

Hmm, well let's see...Arina's other works are Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, I-O-N, Time Stranger Kyoko, Mistress Fortune, and The Legend of Princess Sakura (which is currently in serialization). Each is a love story containing their own unique fantasy elements but they all share several things in common as her other works; there's the strong-willed yet weak female lead, a complicated love triangle, strong supporting cast, happy yet rushed endings, etc. I'd highly recommend checking out Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne if you've read Full Moon and Cross. In my opinion it's her best work and the most original out of all her manga. The story and characters are very unique & well developed and it's not just one of her cliches. I-O-N, Kyoko, Fortune, and Sakura however are all average at best and borrow a lot of elements from each other. It depends on what story interests you, but if you want to check them out they're all fun and light-hearted reads. Aside from Jeanne, though. Jeanne, Full Moon, and Alliance are her best and most developed works. |

 Thanks for telling me. I wasn't exactly following the series very closely, but I was under the impression that it had a long way to go. Go figure.
I agree. Jeanne was my favorite, even though Full Moon probably tops it on emotional depth. Jeanne is also the last work that has her old art style. From Full Moon on, her artwork changed and all her characters now look the same. As much as people rave about her art (and I admit, it's pretty), it's less impressive when you realize that she basically draws the same characters, but with different hairdos.
