1. Casual sign up 2. Lightening speed sing up 3. Why bother signing up because because of con bureaucracy you won't get in. |

I feel your pain. This past weekend was Comic Con ticket registration. I'm not gonna rant about that. However hotel registration should go better. Good luck Paola! |

I'm pretty sure that Daikon is already a real convention, it's the name of the convention that Gainax's earliest unpublished animations were aired at (try looking up Daicon IV on youtube). |

Oh yeah! I knew that!... But I'm not sure Daicon was ever meant as a pun with Daikon (the radish) in the original intent, since it was formed by taking the first letter of Osaka ("大”="dai") and adding in the con from convention. The year before was "Tokon" cause it was in tokyo... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nihon_SF_Taikai Whereas "Daikon" in ANN Nina is obviously just supposed to be a parody of the Japanese-word + "con" naming conventions of anime cons that happens to also just mean radish. |
