Mizushima is a bit of a mixed bag as a director. I loved Fullmetal Alchemist, but Gundam 00 was just about average and I haven't heard a lot of praise for his other stuff.

This just made me night. One of my favorite screenplay writers and one of my favorite directors (FMA still remains one of my all-time most beloved anime, and while 00 wasn't a masterpiece it was still a lot of fun).
Combine that with Nitro+ and a film budget? Sweet, holy Houdini this ought to be a good show. |
