It is beautiful, yes, and some of the stories are very good, but on the whole it is neither compelling enough nor consistent enough to merit shelf space unless you are a major fan of Mori's artwork, in which case it is absolutely worth it.

Well, I AM a major fan of Mori's art so.... Very Happy. I actually got this when it was hot off the presses, buying it as one of those "shared between siblings" Christmas presents for my older sister, who has also enjoyed a lot of Kaoru Mori's stuff. It was very fun-- thought the Baggy-chan and Glasses stories were among the best too-- and while not consistent in quality (again, agreed on the feeling of incompleteness re: Sumire's Flowers), I don't think I'd have preferred to not read/look through it.

And one of the cons is the pricing, huh? Isn't the price-tag partly because it's the same kind of binding and size of ABride's Story? And besides, being the bad boy I am for not supporting my local bookstores, I got it from Amazon for about $10, so I guess that con can't really apply to me.

Yeah, I'm a buy local girl for the most part, which in part is because I have an awesome local comic shop, so I tend to take price into consideration. But it is identical to A Bride's Story in terms of binding, formatting, etc., so it's not like you get a crappy book for your buck.

The story about Baggy-chan was my other favorite, but I didn't just want to rave about Kaoru Mori's adorable middle school girls. Laughing

So this book is for me then yes Very Happy? I just ordered it not long ago and I can't wait till it comes. The book is 200 pages I heard and I'm mainly getting it for being a fan of Mori and her amazing artwork. Does anyone know how long the bunnygirl story is because that's one of the stories I'm most interested in.

The bunny girl story isn't very long (none of them are much more than 10 or so pages), and it has some neat stuff going on that you don't fully understand until the end.
