woooooowww it's been years since i saw this anime on tv haha i would so watch this rerun if i even had nicktoons LOVE the original series

Well,looks like "Yu-Gi-Oh!" is finally coming to Nicktoons. And there were people who said that wouldn't happen. I'm happy to say that they're wrong. Hopefully,it'll premiere on time. I think a lot of people would like that.

Regardless, it's surprising to see it suddenly on the air again, but it's certainly a nice surprise. |

I guess this is good news. Obviously for fans ofcourse (I'm an old fan of the first series myself, having watched it all those years ago...)
But is there really no other anime out there I mean... I totally get and see the whole '... It's better than nothing.' part but, is there even a fanbase for it anymore? Or should I say will it even get one? Not just based on the one it already has. (Is it still as big as it used to be? I can't remember.) I'm sure it'll do well but, this same series has been on what, 3 or so different stations over the years. And at multiple times... (I could have sworn it was on again not that long ago too.) While I'm just gonna assume that alone means something as far as popularity goes. Surely you can only make so much money on this now. I guess I'm just wishing there was something else they could have grabbed... It would have been awesome to see another older show (with not as much air-time as YGO) be gotten. (Would not mind seeing the first season of Digimon again or something! Or hell, Dragon Ball or YYH no matter how unlikely!) Or even a new show (though while that too would be so friggin' great and I'm sure there are loads to choose from, I get the entire licensing thing and that it was probably just easier to get this...) But really, I'm just all DBZ'd and YGO'd out. Don't get me wrong, again, I was/am still a fan of the show and am very happy for those who are happy to see it again. I just wish someone would get something else other than repeating the same thing over and over... |

Better an already butchered anime gets aired then them licensing a new show and butchering another one I'd say x_x
