I lack anything else to say beyond I'm looking forward to this release.

I mean, I expect it's probably going to tear me up emotionally but... It'll be in a good way.

I ordered it during the 40% off Sale funi had on RightStuf.
My real question is, why the HELL would funi air the dub in LA, the NOT air that dub 2 weeks later at NYCC? Then air the subbed version at the same time as the Eva dub, making me pick between the 2. If it was dubbed wolf children, it would be no contest, but I'm not sure I'll go if it's subbed. Just seems like a slap in the face for people who wanted to see it.

David Matranga as the wolf-man… apparently taking a quick break from being in every Sentai dub of the last couple years. Yeah, that works.

I like the performances of the Main Adult cast. Though Snow(using english cause lazy to look up Anime hyper) as a child sounds a little like Jara Jill Miller, that voice works with majority of anime IMO but not for this one. Emily Neves who voiced Setsuko should have been either Rain or Snow though we did not hear pratically anything from Rain to judge His voice actress. But overall I like what I'm hearing so far.

EDIT: But the biggest issue is the music. Funimation has enough money to buy rights of songs to use, They don't need to be using there time and money to make crappy electronic music for every single trailer. Hetalia/Heavens LP trailers worked wonders, but thats 2 out of a gazillion other trailer music that just droped my interest in there shows and dub because of how bad they are IMO.

I'm surprised and pleased as you are. Why does he get the roles in teary eyed shows!? Rolling Eyes Now this feels like a reversed Clannad Anime hyper. Now what are the fan-girls going to squeel about since Davy is voicing a long haired sexy wolf-man? I think I answered my question Laughing Good for David.

I agree they do all start sounding the same after a while. Though I REALLY REALLY loved the trailer music for Eden of the East. I downloaded the music when FUNi had it up, and it gives me chills and fits the show to a T.

Though as far as the trailers themselves go, they really do all start looking the same after a while. They all follow pretty much the same format (well, one of two, depending on if there's a narrator nor not). FUNimation used to be pretty creative with their trailers. No more.

I have not heard that one yet. Might try to hear it.

Don't get me wrong I love some of there music selections (ex: BG crisis, Baccano, Hetalia, Heavens LP, EVA 1.0/2.0 etc.) Its just there a minority compared to some of there other work. And I'm not going to defend Sentai for there lack of Trailers either along with there panel sneak peek music that sounds annoying overtime. Both of them are in the doggy house. VIZ and Aniplex probably are the best so far.

The trailer was a bit underwhelming, given that I personally feel FUNi's Summer Wars trailer was superior to any of the Japanese ones.

Definitely looking forward to seeing the movie, though.

Just going to do this since no one else seems to want too.

"what a baby, if a wild boar ever messed with me I'd beat it up"

"Have you ever ran into one?"

"Uh-Huh, I peed all over him to show him who's boss"

Just love that line and how she stopped from eating that chip to say the last line. Just way too adorable.
