Is it just me or does the Dark Magician here looks more like a Dark Paladin? Anyways, seeing names like these gives me some Yugioh nostologia. I hope it can keep the same amount of momentum that Yugioh V has built itself lately.

OMG who will win the duel between these two long standing rivals? The main character of the story who believes in the heart of the cards or the rich arrogant braggart who in all the times they have dueled the only time he won was because he threatened to kill himself if he lost like a bitch. Whoever shall win this duel?

There already are cards with this art since it's from the artbook Takahashi put out a few years ago, though not all of them were release in America due to some, like Black Magician Girl, would require censorship and Takahashi refuses to let his artwork be censored anymore. |

Nice! Blue Eyes looks amazing and that Black Magician design was from years ago as stated above, but to see it in movie form...YES!
So in GX, when Atem's deck(they say Yugi, but it was more Atem's deck) is on display in the 1st season and gets stolen, Yugi had this Black Magician in his own deck. I always thought it was Yugi trying to pay respects to Atem by keeping his spirit alive so no one forgets him(and also telling his story to everyone). And when Kaibaman was dueling Judai, Kaiba actually had this version of Blue-Eyes in his deck(while having the old version, too since it was in a flashback against some old reporter guy), while Kaibaman had his old deck from DM. Just having fun with the continuity here guys. lol |

I still have the original Blue Eyes White Dragon and Dark Magician from Japan, so nostalgic. Hopefully I can get my hands on some new Yugioh cards soon for this.

Hang on..., is this movie set after the series finale (so yugi vs kaiba) or during the series (so yami vs kaiba)?
