PlayStation 4 Reaches 10 Million Units Sold Worldwide

Sony announced at Gamescom 2014 on Tuesday that it has sold 10 million PlayStation 4 units to consumers worldwide.
Sony sold one million PS4 consoles in the first 24 hours since its launch in the United States and Canada in November. Famitsu reported a in March that Sony sold 322,083 PS4 units during the console's launch weekend in Japan on February 22-23.
The console reached six million units sold in March. Sid Shuman, Sony Computer Entertainment America's social media manager, then announced in April that Sony had sold seven million PS4 units and 20.5 million PlayStation games.
