4-Issue Pacific Rim: Tales from the Drift Comic in the Works

Film production company Legendary announced last week that a new Pacific Rim comic is in the works. Pacific Rim: Tales from the Drift features a story by original film screenwriter Travis Beacham and writer Joshua Fialkov. Artist Marcos Marz and colorist Marcelo Maiolo will illustrate the four-issue monthly series.
The story takes place after the Pacific Rim: Tales from Year Zero graphic novel. The comic will include new kaiju facing off against Jaegers never before seen in combat. The first issue is slated to ship in November.
The live-action Pacific Rim film by director Guillermo del Toro has a sequel and an animated series in the works. Universal will open Pacific Rim 2 in 3D and IMAX on April 7, 2017.
