Kyoto Animation's A Silent Voice - Koe no Katachi, Higanjima Films Listed in Fall

The distributor Shochiku lists the film adaptations of A Silent Voice (Koe no Katachi) and Higanjima manga for release next fall.
Kyoto Animation is producing the anime film of Yoshitoki Ōima's A Silent Voice (Koe no Katachi) manga. Naoko Yamada (Tamako Market, Tamako Love Story, K-ON's two anime seasons and anime film) is directing the film, and Shochiku is distributing the film in Japan.
The second live-action television series and second live-action film adapting Kōji Matsumoto's Higanjima manga franchise will both debut in 2016. The new projects will adapt the Higanjima: Saigo no 47-Hiai (Nirvana Island: The Last 47 DAYS) manga, and will feature the return of Shunya Shiraishi (Gantz, Kaiji 2) as Akira Miyamoto and Ryōhei Suzuki (Kaiji, Gatchaman) as Atsushi Miyamoto. According to Shochiku, Louis Kurihara will also star.
