posted on by Karen Ressler

The wraparound jacket band for the third compiled volume of Yumi Tamura's Mystery to Iu Nakare (Do not say mystery) manga announced on Wednesday that Tamura will have "big news" in the January issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Flowers magazine on November 28. The magazine will have a feature celebrating Tamura's 35th anniversary as an artist.

Mystery to Iu Nakare (pictured right) is currently serializing in Monthly Flowers. Tamura first published the manga as a one-shot manga in 2016 before launching it as a full series in in November 2017. The manga follows mystery-solving college student Totonō Kunō. At the beginning of the story, the police bring him in for questioning on suspicion of the murder of his classmate.

Tamura's 27-volume Basara manga ran in Bessatsu Shōjo Comic from 1990-1998. Viz Media published the manga in English in 2003-2008. The manga inspired the 13-episode Legend of Basara television anime series in 1998.

Viz Media also published Tamura's two-volume Chicago manga in 2002-2003, and her one-volume Wild Com manga in 2004.

Tamura serialized 7SEEDS from 2001 to May 2017, and followed it up with a spinoff manga that ended in Monthly Flowers in October 2017.
