Comic Market 95 Attracts 170,000 on 1st Day

The Comic Market (Comiket) 95 event in Tokyo drew about 170,000 attendees on its first day on Saturday, December 29.
Attendance was down from Comiket 93's first-day count of 180,000 attendees in December 2017, and was the same as Comiket 91's first-day count of 170,000 attendees in December 2016.
Comiket 94's first-day attendance numbers in August was 160,000. The total attendance for the event was 530,000. Comiket does not have unique passes for visitors, so a person who attends all three days would be counted three times.
Summer 2013's Comiket 84 holds the record for the most attendees on the first day with about 210,000.
