The episode 41 is entire a parody of Takao Saito's manga "Golgo 13", with Nephrite carrying a briefcase with a cleaning gun inside that resembles a customized sniper rifle. This is similar on how Duke Togo carries his customized Sniper Rifle in a briefcase.

The episode 47, generally refers to the classic JRPG, in effects Coal sits in an Internet Cafe named NetCafe Yamish and decides to play an online game called "Yami Quest" a spoofed name of "Dragon Quest", even a very similar main theme from the "Final Fantasy" series, can be heard toward the end of this episode.

The episode 40, screams a lot of fairy tale references, including Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Journey to the West and other parodied in various scenes.

In ep.22, Sapphie does appear with his magic a wood puppet man translated into Japanese as "Mokujin", who is a character from "Tekken".

In episode 1, the girls were showing off their brightly decorated Jewel Pods when Sapphy mentions about hers that she will decorate it with a Philosopher's Stone. In Alchemy, a philosopher's stone (Latin: lapis philosophorum) is a legendary alchemical substance said to be capable of turning base metals (lead, for example) into gold (chrysopoeia) or silver. It was also sometimes believed to be an elixir of life, useful for rejuvenation and possibly for achieving immortality. For many centuries, it was the most sought-after goal in Western alchemy.

In episode 16 during Pink's nightmare appear a man who vaguely resembles Lelouch, who is the main character from "Code Geass".

In episode 20, a parody of the "Mission Impossible" theme is seen when Blue Knight orders Garnet's guard force to attention. Garnet reveals that she has a beauty mask similar to Jason Voorhees from the movie "Friday the 13th".

A parody of "Gonna Fly Now", from the movie "Rocky", is seen in episode 22, when Ruby and Retsu are running around.

In episode 24, the whole scene of Coal who wants to accomplish a robbery, is clearly a reference to "Lupin III".

During the Samba scene in Episode 25, the music "Thriller" is played during the dance.

In Episode 28, at the scene where Rald found Luna in the Bamboo Stalk is reminiscent to the story of Princess Kaguya. The entire episode itself is a huge reference to the Folktale "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter".

In Episode 29, during Coarubi's shower scene, the culprit attacking her during the shower is reminiscent to the horror movie "Psycho".

In episode 34, the Amore Bell may be a reference to Leene's Bell from "Chrono Trigger", as both bells have a reputation for granting happiness to couples.

In episode 35, Dian takes out his cards and says "Let's jewel", referencing to the Yu-Gi-Oh's usual "Let's duel". In addition, at Dian's appearance he says: "I'm one of the four devas of the Decoranain. The strongest assassin"; notable after he was taken off a dress similar to that of the Ubisoft's game series "Assassin's Creed".

In episode 39, in a shown video, a particular logo appears as "TV Tooyo". This actually refers to the famous Japanese channel "TV Tokyo".

In episode 39, the stone that Ruby unknowingly threw at King's house was oddly named "Btooom!".

In episode 48, Dian performed a parody from "Detective Conan" positioning itself behind Red and imitating, with a blue bow in front of his mouth, the voice of Midori.
