Genshiken: Second Generation (TV)

In the op in ep 1 at 4:03 Kujibiki Unbalanced characters can be seen on the form of figures. For example, one can see Komaki, Ritsuko, and part of Izumi. These figures are located in the Genshiken club room.

In ep 1 at 6:27 Sue is watching Bakemonogatari. Senjougahara is on her tv screen.

In ep 3 at 1:05 Madarame has figures of the four main characters in Lucky Star and one of Saber from Fate/stay night in his room.

In ep 3 at 1:00 Madarame has a figure of Asuka from Evangelion and one of Azusa from K-on in his room.

In ep 3 at 1:04 Madarame has a poster of Sakura from Card Captor Sakura in his room.

In ep 3 at 5:17 there is an Asuka from Evangelion figurine on a shelf in the clubroom.

In ep 3 at 22:52 Keiko holds up an Asuka from Evangelion cosplay outfit that she wants to wear at the cabaret club that she works at.

In ep 3 at 9:16 Chika is cosplaying as Azusa from K-on. 

In ep 4 at 15:12 both Angela and Kanako are cosplaying from Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. Angela is Panty and Kanako is Stocking.

In ep 4 at 15:13 Merei is holding a fan with Puella Magi Madoka Magica's Kyubey's face on it.

In ep 4 at 15:15 there is a Don cosplayer from Cuticle Detective Inaba.

In ep 5 at 6:36 both Angela and Kanako are cosplaying from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Angela is Mami is and Kanako is Homura. There are also Neko and Anna cosplayers from K.

In ep 5 at 7:05 Sue is cosplaying as Kyubey fromPuella Magi Madoka Magica.

In ep 5 at 7:12 are cosplaying Sayaka and Kyoko from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Merei is Sayaka and Rika is Kyoko. There is also a Muromi cosplayer from Namiuchigiwa no Muromi-san.

In ep 5 at 8:33 Madarame mentions Dorarara to Hato a parody of Durarara.

In ep 5 at 8:48 Hato is cosplaying as Laura from Infinite Stratos.

In ep 5 at 12:46 there is a Kuroh from K cosplayer and a Marii from Joshiraku cosplayer.

In ep 5 at 12:49 Hato is cosplaying as Madoka from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

In ep 5 at 13:06 Hato is cosplaying as Homura from Puella Magi Madoka Magica.

In ep 7 at 1:33 Manabu is cosplaying as Bon Clay from One Piece.

In ep 7 at 1:34 Sue is cosplaying as Penguin Drum version of Himari from Mawaru Penguindrum. She also says the line Survival Strategy.

In ep 7 at 14:18 Zora from Ten Piece is a parody of Zolo from One Piece.

In ep 8 ay 23:23-23:29 the anime they are discussing is Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club

In ep 9 at 21:00 Kuchiki is cosplaying as Matsudaira from Gintama.

In ep 10 at 19:25 of of the dojinshi's covers has Hijikata from Gintama on it.

In Genshiken Nidaime: Rina Satou (Misaka Mikoto - To Aru Kagaku no Railgun) substituted Yukino Satsuki (Kagome Higurashi - Inuyasha) in the role of Kasukabe Saki

In ep 11 at 1:56 the video game being played at the tournament is a parody of Street Fighter. The characters being shown are Ryo instead of Ryu and Key instead of Ken.

In ep 12 at 17:14 penguins number 2 and 3 from Mawaru Penguindrum are visible on the shopping bag by Madarame's feet. At 19:37 all 3 penguins are completely visible.

At 19:40 there is the Penguin Drum version of Himari from Mawaru Penguindrum on a mug.

In episode 1, Sue acts like Mayoi Hachikuji and does the converstation when she runs into Araragi with Madarame. Another time, she dresses like Shinobu Oshino wanting to be ignored like in Bakemonogatari.

In episode 3, at about 06:15, Susanna enters the club room when Kyouko was pulling Madarame towards her using his tie. That scene and the lines Susanna utters after that are a parody of the teeth brushing scene involving Araragi and his two sisters Karen and Tsukihi in episode 8 of the anime Nisemonogatari. Bakemonogatari is parodied heavily in this season of Genshiken.

In episode 4, at about 14:24, there are two girls cosplaying as Nonna and Katyusha from the anime “Girls und Panzer”. They even imitate how Nonna carries Katyusha on her shoulders most of the time.

In episode 4, at about 15:15, the Don Valentino cosplayer mentioned above is holding hands with an Azazel cosplayer from the manga and anime series “Yondemas yo, Azazel san.” (よんでますよ, アザゼルさん.). In the same scene but walking in the opposite direction is someone who is cosplaying as one of the giants in the manga and anime series “Shingeki no Kyojin” (進撃の巨人).

In episode 4, at about 20:16, Susanna tells Chika that “riajuu (リアじゅう) should just explode”. Riajuu is a slang word for people who are happy in their offline life. The phrase Susanna utters was one that the character Mikazuki Yozora from the light novel “Boku wa Tomodach ga Sukunai” (僕は友達が少ない) often said when she gets frustrated at her inability to be a Riajuu.

In episode 4, at about 6:07 Rika Yoshitake is cosplaying Tsukimi Kurashita from Kuragehime.

In episode 13, at about 04:52, Susanna is seen taking various pictures on the train station platform. Her actions and the lines she says while doing it are a parody of a similar scene in K-ON the Movie where Ritsu and Mio are taking pictures straight after leaving Heathrow Airport in London.

In episode 13, at about 12:58, Kuchiki is seen running in the hotel hallway in a strange way and heading towards Hato. His running style is a parody of the way abnormal giants run in the manga/anime “Shingeki no Kyojin” (進撃の巨人). Susanna then intercepts him on the way and attacks him in a manner similar to the attacks in the Street Fighter games.
