At 5:18 in episode 2, Ayamo's baseball cap, aviator sunglasses, and pose are a parody of _Gunbuster_'s Coach Ota—on which Studio Fantasia also worked.

In episode 6 at around 13:12, the movie being shown is an episode from Vandread.
