The captain of the Tarak battleship Todoroki in the last episodes of the series looks like Bright Noah from Mobile Suit Gundam series (In fact, is even voiced by the same voice actor in the original Japanese version)
In episode 4 as the away team prepares to dock with the space station a view screen is shown. It shows an image of the space station, which looks like it's the outer ring is in the shape of some sort of polygon (similar to an octagon) with circular parts jointing each side at the angles. Barnett tells Dita where to dock and the screen shows that the ships are docking at two seperate connector pieces. When the ships are shown actually docking, you can see that both ships dock at the same connector.
