Bicycled

In order to keep costs down, festival runs and limited theatrical runs of movie often have only one or two film reels produced. These film reels are then sent, or "Bicycled," from city to city.

For larger releases, some distributors ship all their copies to major cities, which then act as hubs, and the films are "bicycled" to smaller cities from the nearest large city.
