Plot Summary:
In a world destroyed by environmental pollution, what’s left of humankind lives in small oases of civilization along the coasts of the contaminated continents. The people living in those havens fear the sub-humans - said to be monsters with poison for blood, though once human. So, one day in the "blessed land" of Liber a female subhuman is washed ashore and found by the boy Kazuya who immediately befriends her. Though it is a dangerous friendship as the people of Liber gradually becomes more and more suspicious of Marin and her history that which she doesn’t remember anything of.
