Lina and her new companions are summoned to Rezo's tower with an offer they can't refuse. There, they discover why Rezo is literally tearing up the countryside searching for them -- they possess the sole object he needs to resurrect Shabranigdo! He's big. He's mean. He has the powers of a god. And it'll take more than a fireball or even Lina's devastating Dragon Slave spell to save the world from his wrath. Our heroes might be valiant, but are they good enough to defeat the Dark Lord Shabranigdo?

Sometimes it just doesn't pay to get out of bed. You'd think that Lina Inverse, sorcery genius and recent savior of the entire world, would get a little credit for killing the Dark Lord Shabranigdo. Instead, her once-ally Prince Phil has placed a bounty on her head! So Lina and Gourry are on the run, pursued by the deadly swordsman Zangulus and the ultra-creepy sorcerer Vrumugun... Between fighting conniving sorceresses, appearing in a play, and possible wedding bells, Lina and friends make their way to the city of Sairagg to find out who's responsible for all this. Can they survive? Can Gourry avoid getting married to a man?! Most importantly, can Lina and Gourry ever find enough to eat?

Disc D (Contains Episodes 21-26):
Rezo and the Red Priest has returned from the dead, and the secret of his rebirth is hidden in his labyrinthine laboratory. What Lina needs is a guide. What she finds is the biggest, surliest chicken that she's ever seen! Of course, when you put your trust in a five foot tall chicken, you can be sure trouble's not far behind... Can Lina and her friends cheat death and save the world one more time? Most importantly, can they do it without cracking at least a few corny jokes along the way?
