Wacom, a company that makes digital drawing tablets, is currently streaming a series of videos titled "Drawing with Wacom." The videos feature Japanese artists using Wacom's Cintiq 21UX, a drawing tablet with a built-in 21.3-inch LCD display. The most recent video showcases the work of Mel Kishida, the original character designer for So-Ra-No-Wo-To and P.A. Works' upcoming Hana-Saku Iroha project.

The entire series of videos can be viewed at Wacom's YouTube channel. The other artists in the series include character designer Kei (Hatsune Miku and other Vocaloid2 characters), illustrator Ukke (Crosslight CD), designer toi8 (Le Chevalier D'Eon), illustrator redjuice (supercell's "World is Mine" music video), illustrator Akatsuki Katō (Psychic Detective Yakumo novels), animator Ryousuke Sawa (a.k.a. "Ryōchimo"; key animator, Evangelion 1.0; character designer, Birdy the Mighty: Decode), and illustrator Teruhiko Imaizumi (Hanamaru Kindergarten).

In 2007, Wacom bundled the lower-end Bamboo Fun tablet with popular manga-drawing software Pixia and also launched its own manga contest, which continued in 2008. In 2009 the company hosted a Mobile Suit design contest. Wacom's tablets are popular with many artists, and at the 2010 Taipei International Book Exhibit, artist Range Murata also used a Cintiq tablet screen to conduct a drawing demonstration.
