Rurouni Kenshin Gets PSP 2D Fighting Game in Spring (Update 2)

Nobuhiro Watsuki's samurai manga ended in 1999

The December issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine is announcing on Thursday that Nobuhiro Watsuki's Rurouni Kenshin samurai manga is inspiring a 2D fighting game for the Sony PSP portable console in Japan next spring. The game is titled Rurouni Kenshin: Saisen. The manga ran in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from 1994 to 1999, and Viz Media published the manga in North America.

Update: The full title of the Bandai Namco Games' release is Rurouni Kenshin, Meiji Kenkaku Romantan Saisen. It is the first new Rurouni Kenshin game in five years. Source: Comic Natalie
