Ikki Tousen's Sonsaku Hakufu

Character's flame cheongsam dress cosplayed at Katsucon 2009
In the above photo, cosplayer MinakoKitty portrays Sonsaku Hakufu from Yuji Shiozaki's manga series Ikki Tousen and its anime adaptation. In the series, the characters from the Chinese literary epic Romance of the Three Kingdoms are reincarnated as Japanese high school girls. The character is based on Sun Ce, a military general who established a base of power in southeastern China during the Han dynasty.
The photo was taken at Katsucon 2009, which took place in Arlington, Virginia from February 13 to 15, 2009.
