Studio ufotable to Host Black Rock Shooter The Game Café

The anime studio ufotable announced on Friday that its ufotable cafés in Tokyo and Tokushima will launch a Black Rock Shooter the Game Café campaign on Tuesday. The limited-time café makeover will celebrate the August 25 release of the game in three phases.

In the first week of the campaign, the two cafés will display the contents of the game's limited-edition White Premium Box and Charm Box. In particular, the cafés will showcase the box illustrated by Black Rock Shooter creator huke, the White Rock Shooter figma figure, the White Rock Shooter charm, and the booklet of artwork by huke. The cafés will also show the opening animation footage, commercials, and videos on the making of the opening on a continuous loop. People who order from the limited-time drink menu will receive an exclusive coaster.

Starting on August 16, the cafés will give out exclusive luncheon mats to all diners. They will also display printouts of original pencil sketches for the animation, so customers can rapidly flip through the pages and recreate the motion of the animation themselves. During the final week of the campaign that starts on August 23, the cafés will sell a limited number of postcards that are illustrated with the same original sketches that were on display.
