Gainax, Shinsei Kamattechan Collaborate on Music Video

Gurren Lagann's Hiroki Shinagawa, Yasuhiro Akamatsu on video for "Sei Marie Antoinette"

The anime studio GAINAX is streaming the above music video as the seventh video in its "Music is SF" web project from Friday, August 26 until September 2.

The new video features the song "Sei Marie Antoinette" ("St. Marie Antoinette") by the pop band Shinsei Kamattechan. The video also features the illustrations of Gainax artist Hiroki Shinagawa (Gurren Lagann) and animation work by Yasuhiro Akamatsu (Gurren Lagann, Hanamaru Kindergarten, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt) of Gainax's photography department.

Shinsei Kamattechan's latest album, 8-gatsu 32-nichi e (To August 32nd), goes on sale on August 31.
