Fate/Zero Opening Theme 'oath sign' Sung by LiSA

posted on by Egan Loo
TV anime to premiere on October 1 with 1-hour special

The three main anime magazines are revealing on Saturday that LiSA (Angel Beats!) is performing the opening theme song "oath sign" for the Fate/Zero television anime series. The CD single will ship on November 23 in a regular edition and in two DVD-bundled limited editions — a limited pressing with the Fate/Zero cover and a limited first pressing with a LiSA cover.

Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype magazine is also revealing that the series will premiere on October 1 with a one-hour special.

The anime adapts the prequel novel by Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Phantom - The Animation, Blassreiter) to Type-Moon's Fate/stay night visual novel software. The story is set a decade before Fate/stay night and reveals the 4th Holy Grail War that sets the stage for the war in the software. Director Ei Aoki (Hourou Musuko, Ga-Rei: Zero, Girls Bravo), the anime studio ufotable, and composer Yuki Kajiura (Madoka Magica, .hack, Kara no Kyoukai) are all involved in this anime.
