1st Dragon Quest Monsters Game Upgraded for 3DS in 2012

The Dragon Quest game franchise' official website formally announced that the first Dragon Quest Monsters monster-raising game is being remade and updated for the Nintendo 3DS portable system next year. Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry no Wonderland 3D will be a "massively powered-up" version of the 1998 Game Boy game Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry no Wonderland (known as Dragon Warrior Monsters in the United States due to trademark issues).
In addition to the monsters that appeared in that first Game Boy game, the Nintendo 3DS version will have all of the monsters from Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 Professional (the last game in the franchise that shipped for the Nintendo DS this year). Terry no Wonderland 3D will also add still more monsters, storylines, and other features.
