posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Tonight's episode to feature characters in 80's anime style from U.S. animation studio Titmouse Inc.

Thursday's episode of the NBC comedy series Community will contain an anime-style sequence animated by the North American animation studio Titmouse Inc. (Afro Samurai's opening animation, Metalocalypse, Megas XLR). The episode will feature the characters of the series in 80's anime style.

The animation sequence was directed by Grif Kimmins and animated by Parker Simmons. Community revolves around a group of students at a community college in Colorado. The series premiered on NBC in September 2009.

The episode will air tonight at 8:00 p.m. The Cartoon Brew website is hosting images from the sequence.

Earlier this year an episode of the U.S. comedy science-fiction series Futurama contained an extended anime parody sequence.
