Please Kill Me Baby/Kill Me Baby! Ending Theme Promo Posted

Anime of Kaduho's school comedy manga to premiere on January 5

The official website for the Baby, Please Kill Me! (Kill Me Baby) television anime series began streaming a promotional video for the ending theme song "Futari no Kimochi no Honto no Himitsu" (The True Secret of the Pair's Feelings) on Friday. Mutsumi Tamura, who plays the Sonya, and Chinatsu Akasaki, who plays Yasuna Oribe, sing both this song and the opening theme "Kill Me Baby!"

The story follows the "schoolgirl killer" Sonya, an assassin who happens to attend an ordinary school, and Yasuna, a fearless yet not-so-smart girl and a self-described "friend" of Sonya. Agiri Goshiki (Ai Takabe), a ninja in Sonya's organization, completes the slice-of-life comedy's main cast.

Koduho's manga series launched in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Carat magazine in 2008, after the magazine ran a one-shot early version of the story. Yoshiki Yamakawa (Hatsukoi Limited) is directing the anime at J.C. Staff (A Certain Magical Index, Tantei Opera Milky Holmes, Nodame Cantabile), and Hideki Shirane (Dream Eater Merry, Aria the Scarlet Ammo) is writing the scripts. Shinya Hasegawa (Sailor Moon, Ikki Tousen, Otome Yōkai Zakuro) is creating the series' character designs.

The anime will premiere on January 5. The website also announced that the theme songs will be sold in three different CDs whose illustrations will form a four-panel manga.
