Former Morning Musume Ai Kago Reveals Marriage, Pregnancy

Ai Kago, a former member of the all-female group Morning Musume, announced on Wednesday that she got married this month and is expecting a child.

KAGO joined Morning Musume and its sub-group Mini-Moni in 2000, and then she voiced her animated Aibon counterpart in the Mini Moni Yaru no da Pyon! and Mini Moni the TV series of anime shorts in 2001 and 2003. Alongside other Morning Musume members, she also voiced a hamster character named Aiin-chan in several Hamtaro projects. She "graduated" from Morning Musume in 2004 and was forced out of Hello! Project in 2007, but she has since worked on several solo projects.
