Capcom Releases Street Fight X Tekken and Asura's Wrath in U.K.

The CAPCOM games Street Fighter X Tekken and Asura's Wrath are both available in the U.K. for the Xbox 360 and the PS3. However, the U.K. newspaper Metro reports that neither title will be available at the retailers GAME or Gamestation. In a statement, CAPCOM said that the games would still "be available at a wide variety of retailers across the UK and Ireland." (More details below.)

Street Fighter X Tekken is a crossover fighting game between the two franchises. Both the Xbox and PS3 versions are available in regular and special editions. The PS3 version of the game features 'exclusive' characters: Mega Man, Pac-Man, Cole, Kuro, and Toro. CAPCOM Euro has posted a 102-second trailer on youtube below.

Asura's Wrath was developed by Cyber Connect 2 (Naruto: Ultimate Ninja, .hack, Solarobo) and producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya. The story follows Asura, a god who has been stripped of his powers as he attempts to rescue his kidnapped daughter. The 50-second trailer below was created to promote a playable Asura's Wrath demo, released on the PlayStation Network and the XBox Live Marketplace.

According to the Metro newspaper, the games will be available in the U.K. from such retailers as HMV, Play.com, Amazon.co.uk, ShopTo.net, and The Hut. The paper claims that, "GAME's problems started at the beginning of the year when it lost its credit insurance and many publishers began to demand payment in advance before they sent new stock."
