North American release slated for June 12

The official Gravity Rush YouTube channel has begun streaming a concept video from the games early stages of development. Gravity Daze, as it is called in Japan, released in Japan of February 9 earlier this year. The concept video is available to your right.

Gravity Rush follows an amnesia-stricken young woman who names herself Kat after a strange feline gives her control over gravity. She traverses a city called Hekseville, which is made up of hi-tech city of pointed skycrapers and dusty skies. Using the PS Vita's gyro-sensor and the game's gravity switch, players can suspend gravity at any time, causing Kat to float and turn in the air.

Keiichirō Toyama, know for his previous work with Silent Hill. directed the game. Gravity Rush is expected to make a North American release on the PSP Vita this coming June 12.
