France's Louvre Museum Offers Interactive Tours on 3DS (Updated)

France's Louvre art museum announced on Tuesday that beginning April 11, visitors to the famous art gallery will be able to rent a Nintendo 3DS handheld system that offers audio and visual commentary on works. The system costs 5 Euros (about US$6.50).
Visitors using the system will also be able to see where they are inside the museum so that they can more effectively navigate its halls. The system will offer guidance in French, English, Japanese, Korean, German, Spanish, and Italian. According to Nintendo, this marks the first major application of the handheld as an art museum guidance system.
Previously, the Louvre has hosted an exhibit by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure creator Hirohiko Araki, as well as a press conference for the live-action 20th Century Boys film.
