Limited Edition Hatsune Miku Edition PS Vita Offered

Sony announced on Tuesday that it will release a PlayStation Vita Hatsune Miku Limited Edition in Japan on August 30. Sega will release its tentatively titled Next Hatsune Miku Project Diva musical rhythm game on that same day, and the limited-edition Crystal White PS Vita unit will have the virtual Vocaloid idol Hatsune Miku adorning its rear touch pad.

The bundle will include the PS Vita unit (3G/Wi-Fi or W-Fi-only) itself, Next Hatsune Miku Project Diva, a 4GB memory card, a screen-protector film with an original design, an augmented-reality card with an original design, a USB cable, an AC adaptor, a power cord, and print documentation. The 39,980-yen (about US$500) 3G/Wi-Fi version will include a pre-paid SIM card (with a 20-hour data plan) that the 34,980-yen (US$437) Wi-Fi-only version will lack.

Sony will also begin selling a standard Crystal White PS Vita without Hatsune Miku on June 28.
