"Real Escape Game" to open in Shibuya in July; Chronicle Collection's promo streamed

CAPCOM, Zepp Live Entertainment, Scrap, and Sony Music Communications are collaborating to produce a Resident Evil (Biohazard) immersion event in Tamai Hospital Studio in Tokyo's Shibuya ward. Participants must escape the abandoned hospital, which has been revamped to look like the settings from Resident Evil survival horror games.

The event will run from July 19 to August 31, and tickets will go on sale on June 2. Admission will cost 3,150 yen (about US$40) in advance or 3,650 yen (about US$46) at the door.

The "Real Escape Game" (realdgame) event producer Scrap is also creating the "Evangelion: Kieta Pilot no Nazo in Tokyo Dome City Attractions" event in the Tokyo Dome City Attractions amusement park this summer. NEW PEOPLE, Inc. hosted Scrap's “The Real Escape Game: The Escape From The Werewolf Village” event in San Francisco, California in March.

CAPCOM also began streaming a three-minute "how to play" promotional video for Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection on Thursday. The digital-download bundle will be available on the PlayStation Store in North America on June 28.

The collection is made up of two former Wii-exclusive titles, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. The two games are being ported to the PlayStation 3 in high-definition format. The re-release will also include support for the PlayStation Move controller. The two titles will be also be available separately at a later date.
