Tiger & Bunny Hero Vote's 1st-Week Results Posted

The staff of the first Tiger & Bunny film posted the first-week results for the "Weekly Hero Countdown" campaign on Tuesday. The countdown is a special poll where fans get to choose which hero will star in the finale of the film. Votes are being accepted until July 31.

A fan can enter the serial number printed on each advance ticket into the campaign's website. Then the fan can vote for his or her favorite hero. The top vote-getter will be crowned "King of Movie Hero" and star for about three minutes in the film's last scenes. The rest of the top 5 will also appear in the last scenes, although the #5 hero will only get about 15 seconds of fame
Gekijō-ban Tiger & Bunny -The Beginning- is the first of the two Tiger & Bunny films from the studio Sunrise. It will open in Japan on September 22, while the second film will open next year.
The first film's plot will be a "hybrid" — it will cover not just the same story content as the previous television series, but also untold, behind-the-scenes stories. Producers Kazuhiko Tamura and Chika Matsui had said in March that the second film will be an entirely new story.
