Imageepoch's PSP RPG to feature J.C. Staff's animation, BYEE the ROUND's theme

Imageepoch began streaming the opening movie for its upcoming Sol Trigger PlayStation Portable game on Wednesday. The two-minute video features game animation produced by the studio J.C. Staff and the theme song "Continue?" performed by the band BYEE the ROUND.

The game's official website is also streaming three more character videos for Gustaf (played by Kenta Miyake), Sophie (Ami Koshimizu), and Ema (Kana Hanazawa). Imageepoch posted character videos for Valter (Tomokazu Sugita), Istvan (Akio Ohtsuka), and Littler (Miyuki Sawashiro) in May.

Sol Trigger will include turn-based battles and multiple difficulty modes. The game's story centers on warriors who release their souls and make miracles. The artist Shuji Sogabe (God Eater, Persona 3, Persona 4 manga) is designing the characters based on the original scenario by Kazushige Nojima (Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts). The disc version of Sol Trigger will cost 6,279 yen (about US$78), while the downloadable version will cost 5,600 yen (US$70).

Imageepoch will release the game for the PlayStation Portable in Japan on October 4 after delaying the game from its original release date of August 30. The company will release a free demo for the game in July.
