Release date for PS3 game in Europe, Asia, Australia pushed back to February 1

Namco Bandai Games' European division posted a five-minute behind-the-scenes featurette on Tuesday for Level 5 and Studio Ghibli's Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch role-playing game. In the video, award-winning Wonder City Inc. composer and Ghibli veteran Joe Hisaishi discusses his influences and creative process for composing the game's soundtrack, like creating 21 songs in a week.

The first featurette took a look behind the scenes at the Level 5 studio and the second discussed animation production with the staff.

Namco Bandai Games released a demo for the game on the PlayStation Network in North America on December 4 and in Europe on December 5.

The story involves a young boy named Oliver who crosses over into another world on a quest to find his mother.

The game will ship in North America on January 22. Namco Bandai UK announced on Tuesday that the European, Australian, and Asian versions of the game have been delayed one week due to logistical issues. Those versions will launch on February 1 with a free downloadable gift. The game was originally released in Japan in November 2011.
