PSP/PS Vita "game creation simulation x love adventure” to ship on February 14

Japanese production company Kadokawa began streaming a promotional video for the video game adaptation of The Pet Girl of Sakurasou anime on Friday. The video features the anime's opening theme "Kimi ga Yume wo Tsuretekita" by Pet na Kanojo-tachi (voice actresses Ai Kayano, Mariko Nakatsu, Natsumi Takamori).

The "game creation simulation x love adventure" game allows players to control high school second-year student Sorata. Sorata and the other inhabitants of the Sakurasou dormitory will work together in the game to create their own video game as part of a contest at their school. The cast from the anime return for the game.

The game will ship for the PSP and PlayStation Vita in Japan on February 14, after being delayed from its original January release date.

The price for the normal version of the game will be 6,804 yen (about US$86) for the PS Vita and 6,279 yen (about US$80) for the PSP version, while a limited edition package will go for 11,004 yen (about US$140) for the PS Vita and 10,479 yen (about US$134) for the PSP. The game will also be available for download from the PLAYSTATION Network for 6280 yen (about US$80) for the PS Vita and 5,750 yen (about US$73) for the PSP. The limited edition package will include an add-on drama CD, a muffler towel with main heroine Mashiro printed on it, and a mini-figure of -otoha- Nakano in a bunny girl outfit.
