Devil Survivor 2 for 3DS Previewed in TV Ad

Atlus began streaming a television commercial for Devil Survivor 2: Break Record, the Nintendo 3DS port of its tactical role-playing game Devil Survivor 2, on Thursday.
The ad mentions the new character and the new story scenario in this update. Officially, the new female character's identity and voice actress are still unrevealed, although her JP's uniform and other clues point to possible candidates.
In the original story, 13 Devil Messengers face the end of the world by mysterious invaders in seven days. The new scenario takes place after the fight against the Septentrion. Those familiar with the original game do not have to repeat the game up to that point to enjoy the new story; players can start immediately with the new scenario.
The new game will debut in Japan on July 11. Atlus released the original Devil Survivor 2 video game in Japan in July 2011, and then Atlus USA released the game in North America in February 2012. Devil Survivor 2 The Animation, an anime by the studio Bridge and director Seiji Kishi (Persona 4 The Animation), is now airing in Japan. Crunchyroll is streaming the series outside of Japan as it airs, and Sentai Filmworks licensed it for North America.
