Tecmo KOEI confirmed in its E3 lineup announcement that it will release Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland and Toukiden on the PlayStation Vita in the West this year. Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland will arrive on September 3 with extra content and features, including "new costumes, new endings, and all the DLC from the PS3 version." Toukiden will come out in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Tecmo KOEI also confirmed that Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will ship for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 3.

NIS America released the original Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland game, the third game in the Arland series, for the PlayStation 3 last year after the game originally shipped in Japan in July 2011. Gust released Atelier Meruru Plus in Japan on March 20.

Tecmo KOEI released the Atelier Totori Plus: The Adventurer of Arland PS Vita port in English on March 19. Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland's producer Keisuke Kikuchi noted in March that Atelier Rorona, the first game in the Arland series, will not be getting a PS Vita port.

The studio Omega-Force, which developed the Musou (Warriors) franchise, is developing the the Toukiden hunting action game. Hidari (Fractale, Natsu-iro Kiseki, Vividred Operation) designed the characters for the game. The game is set several years after a temporal cataclysm unleashed demons into the human world. Players control a demon hunter charged with ridding the world of the new menace. Tecmo KOEI will release the game in Japan on June 27. Tecmo KOEI's E3 lineup announcement only listed the game as getting a Western release on the PlayStation Vita.
