posted on by Bamboo Dong

As companies start gearing up for Comiket 85, which takes place at the Tokyo Big Sight from December 29-31, more and more announcements are coming out regarding special goods and merchandise. We've got an exhaustive list of Comiket goods coming out soon, but for now, here's a look at what Kyoto Animation has in store this year.

For fans of the Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club anime, there will be two special items, starting with the Free! set, which includes the official Free! book with character model sheets, a "Creator's Message Book," two collections of sketches from the chief supervising director, and a B5-size zipper pouch, all in a special carrying bag. The entire set will be available for ¥6,000.

Also available is a set of 11 can badges that comes with a special tote bag. This set will be available for ¥4,000.

Beyond the Boundary fans can expect to see a "Beyond the Boundary Idol Set" for ¥3,000, which includes a postcard, a short story book, and four rubber straps.

For fans who prefer the guys in the series, there's also a "Beyond the Boundary Older Brother Set," with a postcard, a short story book, and two rubber straps; this set will be available for ¥2,000.

Fans will also be able to purchase a copy of the light novel, Myriad Colors Phantom World, and a special A4-size clear file, with illustrations by Shirabi.

Also available at the booth will be several artbooks, including the Free! Illustration Works, which will also include drama stories, a visual story CD, and a desktop mascot app that will allow users to install character icons onto their laptop; a Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! Illustration Works artbook, which will come with a "samba version" rubber strap of Rikka; and the Tamako Market Illustrations Book.

If you need to stock up on calendars, KyoAni will also have 2014 calendars available for Free!, Beyond the Boundary, Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions!, and Tamako Market. The Tamako Market calendar is the smallest at A4 size (8.3" x 11.7"), while the other three calendars are A2 size (16.5" x 23.38"). The calendars are already available for purchase, but in case you're still on the fence, here's what they look like inside:

For those headed to Comiket, Kyoto Animation will be at booth number 331 in West 4F.1
